One day after she tore up the track in Beijing, Pricilla sat with Ron McLean to speak about her experience of running the 110 m Women's Hurdles race yesterday. The person he met in the studio almost didn't resemble the one he saw on the track yesterday - at least from the point of view of intensity and concentration, but then again that's Priscilla.
After explaining her take on the experience of running in the final, she paid homage to her family and friends, and to her long-time coach for all the dedication and support she has received.
Coverage today in the local Toronto papers placed her on the front page, and rightly so. This is the first time since 1996 that Canada has won an Olympic medal in Track and Field, and this is the first time ever that Canada has won a medal in womens 110 m Hurdles.
